Continuous Cast Iron Bars
Selecting the proper grade of cast iron depends on the application; for example, what desired machining characteristics or hardness level is required. Combinations of graphite structures with the different matrix structures will result in a wide variety of grades each having its own unique properties and benefits.
The most notable characteristic of continuous cast iron is its fine-grained, dense, as-cast microstructure. Because of its unique manufacturing process, continuous cast iron bar possess many other advantages as below:
