When sand cast irons were originally used, the reject rate is as high as 30% to 70% averagely, and even totally rejected. After continuous cast iron bar are used, the reject rate is reduced greatly. Better machined surface finish and higher dimensional precision are achieved. The produced parts perform excellently. No material wastes are found.

Since continuous cast iron material has the typical fine grains in dense homogeneous matrix, this ensure its suitability in applications demanding the ability to withstand high pressures without leaking. Typical hydraulic operating pressure in which our cast iron bars normally operates is around 23 MPa. Tests have shown it will withstand 68 MPa hydraulic pressure across a 3mm thickness in hydraulic cylinder end caps.
